Lee Powell was a pint-sized speedy winger whose early promise was reflected in his being capped for Wales at U-21 level. Yet he was gone from the League scene while still 21. A non-league journey brought him home to Wales, via Scotland and a trial at Brighton.
In 2014 he was living in the city of his birth working in traffic management and putting down a lot of cones on the Welsh motorway system.
