Jake was one of three substitutes used by Saints in the 5-1 away League Cup win at Oakwell in August 2013, the others being Harrison Reed and Omar Rowe. It was only a cameo appearance of a few minutes and there were to be no more but many Saints fans will remember him for having a famous older brother – Scott Sinclair of Celtic fame. Like his brother Jake was a darting wide forward but there the comparisons fall down as Jake has had to play his subsequent football outside the League.
